Darrell Edwards, (aka DW EDWARDS) Singer, Songwriter, Musician, and Composer is influenced by music icons such as Herbie Hancock, Al Green, Kenny G, James Brown, Prince, Chris Stapleton, Miles Davis, Rick James, Aretha Franklin, Eric Clapton, BB King,  Etta James to name a few.

DW Edwards & “Lighting Up The Soul” has performed at various venues such as Vino Godfather Winery, Vallejo; Seven Artisans Winery, Fairfield; Empress Theatre, Vallejo; DownTown Theatre, Fairfield; Nicks By The Sea, Pacifica; the Gold Rush Lounge, San Francisco and numerous annual “Wounded Warrior” fundraisers held at Wooden Valley Winery Fairfield, and other venues in and around the Bay Area.  Armed with an extensive playlist of recognizable songs for everyone, They come to the stage as well polished, musicians, consummate entertainers,  and performers. Of course they always add several songs of their original works to round out their shows.
